FAQ

Can I commission a painting?

Yes absolutely! I have a lot of experience in painting commissioned pieces, please see the separate Commissions FAQ page for more info.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, within the UK all shipping is free.

Do you ship to the European Union/worldwide?

Yes I do! Shipping cost are calculated at checkout, so please take your items to the basket, and the postage cost will be displayed there.
Please bear in mind some countries charge import taxes/ custom duties on items over a certain value, which are the buyer’s responsibility. The best way to find this out is to contact your local customs office, some even have an online calculator.
Due to Brexit, this now also applies for all European countries as well.

How are your prints made?

All prints are high quality reproductions of my original paintings. They are printed on 285gsm Fine Art paper, with pigment inks, making them giclee standard quality. They are individually wrapped and backed with a sturdy acid free cardboard mount.
Basically this means the colours will not fade, and your print will last beyond a lifetime!

When will my item be shipped?

Most orders will be dispatched the next working day. If this is for some unusual reason is not possible, I will notify you by email.
Prints and cards are sent Royal Mail first class, and original work by courier.

How are my items shipped?

Prints are posted flat in a card backed envelope. All packaging is made from recycled materials.
Original art is securely wrapped and boxed up to keep it sacure in transit.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes, if you are in Glasgow we can arrange a pickup, following all current Covid-19 restrictions safely. My studio is based in Govan.
Please email me to arrange a pickup, and I will send you a code to remove the shipping cost at checkout.

Can I visit you in your studio and browse your work?

Yes you can! I am generally happy for visitors, although this would be strictly following the current Covid-19 Scottish Government restrictions of the time.
Please contact me to arrange. Please also bear in mind my studio is very much a working studio rather than a gallery space, so expect colourful chaos and a workshop vibe!

Do you run drawing or painting classes outdoors?

Not at the moment, but I hope to be able to do so in the future! Drawing outdoors in the landscape is an integral part of my work, and a fantastic way to appreciate your surroundings fully.
I am currently training towards my Mountain Leader qualification (slightly delayed due to Covid-19). Once I have completed this extensive training and assessment, I will be able to take groups out on proper mountain adventures in the UK!
